COMMUNITY RESOURCES

Community Resources are critical in meeting the needs of individuals living in a community that needs them. These resources can be essential in developing work skills, social skills, and educational skills to secure a General Education Development (GED). When community resources are used, such as the local libraries, computer lab access, and food pantry, children increase their reading skills, develop computer skills, and obtain food if they lack it, so they do not have to go hungry. It is difficult for children who are hungry to concentrate in school and perform well overall.
